Description
Here is my painting of Tetra, from Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and Phantom Hourglass.
In the game, she's portrayed as a young girl, but I thought I'd paint her as a young adult. (Mainly because I can't draw little kids, and I like her as an adult; somehow a young girl leading a burly band of pirates is a little unrealistic, but hey, that's Zelda for you.
)
Also, I don't think I've seen any fan art of Tetra as an adult, so I guess mine would be the first, here.
I tried to portray her spirit, sass and leadership with this piece. Hands on hips and a cheeky expression seems to do that.
Drawing this was very fun, and colouring too, even though I coloured her pretty simply. I chose to use two shades for each colour instead of three like I've done in the past. I'm thinking of painting this with more detailed shading in the future.

Holy cow Tetra looks awesome! She definitely looks like she could captain a pirate ship! Her face looks very confident, and her pose gives her the sass we all know and love Tetra for Also, I'm jealous of your ability to draw her hair. I can never figure out how to draw it so that it looks like her cool swirly bun without looking super stiff and cartoony
