It's been a while since I submitted a pic of Samus. So here's one!
It's technically a work in progress, but I'm pleased with it now. An experiment with bold colouring, using Photoshop's effects, and experimenting with vibrant shadows/lights.
The first version was pretty different... her face has completely changed. Admittedly, I began this picture in 2011! Since then I've learned more about faces and how to better convey a cartoon style with hints of realism.
Blah blah! XD Basically, this picture went through a few changes, and years - until I decided to mark it as read.
Lineart drawn in Paint Tool SAI/Photoshop, coloured in Photoshop.
