Here is another Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess painting, this time of Princess Zelda.

This was quite a challenge for me, drawing all the detailed armour, jewelry and the sash that hangs from her dress, but I really wanted to give it a go, so I pressed on. Colouring this was so fun, getting to use all these different colours was great, and learning a little about cel-shading techniques by observing the original's colouring, but making it into cel-shading, and making it up as I go along.

Refining the sash pattern's lineart with a .7 pixel pen was a little daunting, as I had to erase a lot and try to make the lines darker and defined, but it was a good experience.

Painted in Photoshop CS.
Took about a week.

EDIT: I've finished the picture, painted the rest of her skirt and sword. ~blacksicanmofo asked if he could have my permission to use this painting for a tattoo he wants to get, and asked if I'd finish the rest of her dress for completeness, so I did!

I've seen two other versions of this [link] and [link] they obviously aren't yours, i'm guessing they stole it or you actually allowed them to do this but i saw no proper credit given in the description, it said it was theirs. So.... :P just thought i should let you know ^-^

ohh it's ok, my painting is drawn from an official Nintendo Zelda artwork, and that artist used the same source/reference material as I did, so it's not stolen, only used as ref :)
