DC's Power Girl (Kara Zor-L, also known as Karen Starr.)
Superman's cousin from Earth 2, I think - not that I know much about the Superman tale.
The power's in her overall strength and goodness (also her boobs).
Drawn in Open Canvas/Photoshop, painted in Photoshop CS5.

Thanks for looking :D

You have done a beautiful pic of her in the animated fashion. Love the her pose on the look out for evil doers while we check out her big "guns".
Love the vibrant colors used and the right amount of shading to the lineart. Great job on her face/hair work.

Thanks so much for your comment! I'm glad you agree that the pose is perfect for showing her strength and patrolling skills, and the other skills. XD

Cool picture :)

As far as i know she has had very little involvement with Superman's stories since 1986, which i felt was for the best, since it kind of made her seem more her own person. I don't think she saw or even really spoke to him much other than on very rare occasions.

With DC now rebooted, i haven't a clue where they stand.

You know, I really like the 'glow' your colors are giving off here. It gives off an effect similar that you would see more with objects, but it manages to compliment the skin and hair quite well here and adds a bit more depth to the image. I'm curious to know how you're doing it, actually.

I honestly don't know the first thing about Power Girl, but I have ran into a comic or two recently that has gotten me a bit curious. Maybe I'll get one and see what all of the fuss is about... well, at least the fuss that doesn't involve her obvious physical appeal, of course.
