Well, I said I had a deviation in the works...and here it is.
BIG-ARSE-THANKS to `snowmask (Katie) for helping me with this! :heart:
I wasn't planning on painting Angie, she's not my most favourite actress, but she's very interesting-looking, and quite attractive.
I drew this from a photo in Cosmopolitan magazine.
This is possibly the first painting I've done like this, I guess you could call it realism. I've got a lot more to learn from painting like this, it's hard to do.
I made this with openCanvas.
Well, won't bang on about this much more, I just hope that you like my painting. :)

EDIT: Added a border, to make it more professional looking lol

this is awesome! i was checking your gallery out for your Alita works, and i saw this, and out of the blue a thought pops into my head "if there were ever a live action movie of Alita, Angelina would make a great Alita" don't know why i thought that, but i can see it! you do AWESOME works!

:D Hey man - well, open canvas is a painting/drawing program, made in Japan, I think. It's very versatile, acts just like a pencil and watercolour paintbrush, and an airbrush. I find it really good to sketch and paint with, it's natural and easy to use, once you get used to it. And you can use layers too, and add various effects. I have found that I even draw better when I use open canvas, as opposed to paper and pencil.

So know you know...are you gonna try it out? There's a trial version, I can't remember the website name, just type in 'open canvas' at google.com or something, to download. :)

And you use the mouse to draw? Sounds pretty odd for a fella like me own...

Nope, I use my graphic tablet. :) Using a mouse to draw is insane.
But yeah...you'd have to buy a graphics tablet to really use open canvas to its potential. Tablets are kinda expensive, but they're money well spent! :D

sorry if I sound redundant but this is beautifully painted....I especially love how the shadows on her skin came out and her hands came out...also her eyes are very catching...again great work on everything...:nod:...
