Alita - February 2008

Here's Alita, from the manga by Yukito Kishiro, called Battle Angel Alita: Last Order, otherwise known as Gunnm in Japan.
It's my favourite manga, well, my only favourite manga, the only one I've read all the way, and collected every graphic novel of. Alita's pretty awesome. There's gonna be a movie coming out about her, called Battle Angel, directed by James Cameron. I hope he pulls it off right.

Anyway, haven't drawn Alita in like 2 years, that's weird for me cos I drew her a lot back then.

Drawn in Open Canvas, coloured in Photoshop. Yeah, she's fuckin' shiny; I dunno how to do highlighting and basic shade colouring properly. I want to do an art course or something, but til then I'm gonna do my crazy colouring.
